Vida Pirata L.Ac.

For more than a decade, Vida Pirata, L.Ac. has dedicated her life to one mission: helping people heal naturally without unnecessary medications, invasive procedures, or quick-fix promises that don't last.

Vida is a California State Licensed Acupuncturist (L.Ac.) and a trained Chinese and Persian herbalist with a uniquely global background. She studied acupuncture in the United States and herbal medicine in Nepal, where she trained alongside traditional practitioners and learned the foundational principles of Eastern medicine that have stood the test of millennia. She later completed a professional cosmetic acupuncture program at Westmore Academy in California, becoming a certified cosmetic acupuncture specialist and going on to host her own television program teaching natural beauty and wellness practices to a global audience.

Beyond her formal training, Vida has spent years volunteering in clinics across Asia bringing acupuncture and herbal medicine to underserved communities and refining her clinical skills in some of the most demanding environments imaginable. That experience shaped the way she practices today: with deep compassion, careful observation, and an unwavering commitment to treating the root cause of every condition not just the symptom.

In 2015, Vida established her practice in California, and in the years since, she has helped hundreds of patients find lasting relief from chronic pain, stress, anxiety, infertility, autoimmune disorders, hormonal imbalance, digestive issues, allergies, skin conditions, and more. Her patients consistently describe her as warm, intuitive, and remarkably gifted at identifying patterns that other practitioners miss.

What makes Vida differentBilingual care. Vida treats patients in English and Persian (Farsi), and she's been a featured guest expert on Persian radio and television programs across California for years discussing acupuncture, herbal medicine, and women's wellness with audiences who often have limited access to holistic care in their native language.Truly individualized treatment. No two bodies are the same, and no two treatment plans at Vida Wise are the same. Every patient receives a complete pulse and tongue diagnosis, a detailed health intake, and a customized plan that may include acupuncture, custom Chinese or Persian herbal formulas, cupping, moxibustion, or auricular (ear) acupuncture based on what your body actually needs.Community first.

Vida is the founder of the Persian Medicine & Acupuncture Center in California and an active member of a clinical group that provides free and reduced-cost treatments to low-income patients. Holistic healing, in her view, should be accessible to everyone, not a luxury reserved for the few.Deep clinical experience with women's health and fertility.

Vida has supported countless patients through fertility journeys, IVF and IUI cycles, PCOS, endometriosis, painful periods, hormonal imbalance, perimenopause, pregnancy support, and postpartum recovery. Her thoughtful, evidence-informed approach makes her one of the most trusted fertility acupuncturists in Orange County.

Vida's Philosophy:

"Pain is your body's way of asking for attention. Acupuncture and herbal medicine give us a way to listen and to respond with precision, with patience, and with a genuine desire to help you feel like yourself again."If you're tired of being a number in a system that treats symptoms instead of people, Vida Wise Acupuncture Clinic is here to offer something different. A calmer, deeper, more personal way to heal.

Caroline

I feel blessed to be able to do what I love for a living and to help women achieve their goals of motherhood. To be able to hear a woman say “I’m pregnant!” after years of trying to conceive…there is nothing more heart-warming and rewarding than that.

I was diagnosed with PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome) at 19 and the only solution my OB/GYN had was to place me on birth control pills. She also stated I would have difficulty conceiving in the future. That was a huge wake up call for me; I knew there had to be something out there that could help me. Thankfully my aunt introduced me to acupuncture.

Many acupuncture sessions later and I’m happy to say my cycle is now regulated and I was able to kick PCOS to the curb!

After my experience with Chinese Medicine I knew I had to study this medicine and help other women suffering from reproductive disorders. I felt it was my calling to educate women and let them know that they don’t have to suffer from PCOS, endometriosis, painful periods, or infertility because Chinese Medicine can help!

I studied at the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in San Diego and Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Chengdu, China. After graduation, I worked as an acupuncturist at the Reproductive Fertility Center with Dr. James Lin, MD in Irvine, CA where I was able to see first-hand how acupuncture benefitted patients going through assisted reproductive technology (ART) treatments such as IVF and IUI.

Credential:

• I am a certified practitioner of Practically Fertile

• I am licensed to practice acupuncture in North Carolina and California

• I am board-certified in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbology by the National

Certification Commission for Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM)
